The brain is the crown of creation for its complex and pivotal role in life. Therefore, better treatments for brain diseases need a detailed understanding of its anatomy and dynamic function in order to refine and invent new techniques and paradigms for previously untreatable conditions. Previous treatment plans with higher procedural risks are being replaced with more patient-friendly treatment methods. New surgical approaches with less brain retraction are being developed. These efforts need dedicated clinicians and research scientists with a passion for what they do. Additionally, funding is necessary to translate such novel ideas to reality. Research and Development go hand in hand for a world with a healthier Brain.
